The hall was completed later than the bathroom but started earlier as we had to tile it before we put in the staircase to replace the one in the lounge.
It stayed half-done for a year while we did the rest of the house as the ceiling could not be fitted, nor the back wall plaster boarded, until the central heating pipes were laid but once this was done completion was fairly quick.

We have put our wine “cave” under the stairs….
